Lil' Wayne is being sued by a Tampa Bay promotions company, claiming that he missed a concert date and has refused to reschedule the performance. Reports show that the lawsuit was filed Friday (Jan. 19) in Miami-Dade County Circuit Court. The Lawsuit states that Lil Wayne signed a contract with Nunoise Entertainment and Jahfari Promotions to perform at a nightclub in Tampa last October. Lil Wayne missed the event and returned a $15,000 deposit, but the companies claim that Lil Wayne still owes $45,000 for canceling the show and is obligated to schedule another performance. The lawsuit also alleges that promoters lost more than $200,000 due to the cancellation of the show.Representatives for Lil' Wayne were not available to comment.
