Pacman Jones update...

Las Vegas police recovered more than $81,000 in cash from Mitchell's room that investigators believe belonged to Jones. The search warrant also shed light on some missing details about what happened inside the strip club before the 5 a.m. shooting occurred.

Cornelius Haynes Jr., better known as the rapper Nelly, and rapper Jermaine Dupri, were also at the club and sitting with Jones's entourage in the VIP section, the warrant stated.Haynes had tossed hundreds of $1 bills on the stripper stage, an action known in street slang as "making it rain," and Jones joined in. An announcer told all the dancers to go to the center stage, and about 40 strippers soon were on the stage. Mitchell told the strippers from his Houston club to pick up the money, which apparently was only supposed to be used for visual effect, the warrant stated. One of the dancers than took the trash bag filled with Jones' money and a "melee broke out. Jones became irate about the loss of his money, and the fact that girls were in a frenzy, picking up the money at their feet," the warrant stated.

Oh, so this was all about a trash bag with $81,000 in it. THAT should clear everything up.

Beans back in Federal Court

A judge extended Beanie Sigel's supervised release after the rapper was questioned in federal court about a positive drug test and association with convicted felons. Sigel was sentenced in October 2004 to 12 months and a day, plus two years of supervised release, on gun and drug charges. The U.S. Probation Office asked for a hearing yesterday to change his supervised release status, saying he failed to notify his probation officer that he had been stopped and questioned by police on Aug. 20. He was with several people, at least one of them a convicted felon, at the time, police said. Sigel also tested positive for codeine and morphine in a drug test in December.
32-year-old Sigel, whose real name is Dwight Grant, told U.S. District Court Judge R. Barclay Surrick that he had been given a prescription by his doctor three days before a scheduled drug test.
Sigel's attorney, Fortunato Perri Jr., provided Surrick and Assistant U.S. Attorney Curtis Douglas with a copy of a prescription and a letter signed by a doctor.
Surrick sentenced Sigel to an additional six months of supervised release. He told Sigel he would have to get the situation "under control or otherwise I'm going to have to take action you're not going to appreciate."

Young Buck speaks on beefs'

Young Buck's got a new album, Buck the World, on the way. With 2007 shaping up to become a year for certain Southern acts to shine bright, the competition is on. But, will there be beef?

"It's the big payback shit for me," he said. "I appreciate the fans patiently waiting. That's why I worked so hard on making this another classic album. ... I got respect for them all — T.I., lil Wayne, all of them — but at this point, I'm hungry for real. Between me, Wayne and T.I., we got the most anticipated albums coming out of the South this year. I'm trying to bust both their asses, but in a friendly way. Cause them is my niggas."
"I'm out in these streets for real...I'm affiliated with it, without having the illegal shit with it. I can't indulge myself in the so called beef situations because my shit is so real out here. Two weeks ago, I got pulled over by Feds and everything! They said my license was suspended. They get me down to the police station and questioned me about homicides...So at this point right now, I'm not fucking with none of this rap beef. I'm trying to keep my head above water," he said.

"The 50 and Cam shit That shit is funny to me". "I'm gonna be all the way honest. I think 50 can handle that from his own point of view. But like I said, shit is so real for me in the streets. At the end of the day, 50, he's about capitalizing off of negative energy. When anybody brings negative energy to him, he's just a blessed child to turn it into a bank roll. Fucking with 50 like that, you have to have your shit all the way together. To each his own, 'cause at the end of the day, we are on top. 50 is on top."

Pacman Jones shooting update

Pacman Jones of the Tennessee Titans, Jermaine Dupri and Nelly were throwing thousands in singles ("making it rain") when the strippers rushed the stage and started fighting over the cash.
A witness said Pacman, accompanied by a large posse, entered the club late Sunday night with a "Glad Bag" full of dollar bills, and soon began making it rain. Nelly and Jermaine Dupri were also at the club, and were throwing money from "blocks of singles".
Two strippers allegedly began to fight over the cash, and because of that confusion, the club owners turned on the lights to get all the patrons to exit the club.
After Jones and his group left the club, there were multiple gunshots from automatic weapons coming from Jones' entourage, resulting in two bouncers being shot (both are in critical condition) and a woman also getting hit with the gunfire (condition unknown).

Busta rejects plea deal

Busta Rhymes rejected a plea bargain offered by prosecutors today in Manhattan Criminal Court.
The rapper, who is facing two assault charges, is accused of kicking and punching former driver Edward Hatchett in a dispute over back pay on Dec. 26, 2006. He's also accused of assaulting 19-year-old Robert Lebron, a fan who allegedly spit on the rapper's Maybach, after an Aug 12, 2006 concert on Randall's Island.
Prosecutors, who labeled the animated rapper a "violent predicate felon," offered Rhymes six months in jail for the two assault charges, which he rejected.
According to reports, Manhattan Criminal Court Judge Tanya Kennedy said Rhymes could plead guilty to third-degree assault, a misdemeanor.
If Rhymes accepts Judge Kennedy's offer, the rapper would be required to serve five days of community service, two weeks of youth lectures and six months of anger management classes.
Once successfully completing the terms of the sentencing, all charges against Rhymes, 34, will be dismissed. If the rapper violates his probation, he could be sent to prison for a year.
Police are still attempting to question Busta Rhymes about the Feb. 2006 shooting death of his bodyguard Israel Ramirez.
Ramirez was shot and killed on set of Rhymes' "Touch It (Remix) video shoot. Police believe an argument between G-Unit's Tony Yayo and Ruff Ryders' Swizz Beatz sparked the deadly shooting.
Police believe Rhymes may have witnessed the shooting and has refused to cooperate. Tony Yayo also refused to submit to questioning until he is charged with a crime.

Young Buck and Game beef in Las Vegas

Young Buck and The Game got into a near altercation in the early morning hours yesterday when they both attended a Diddy hosted party in Las Vegas during NBA All-Star weekend. G-Unit's Young Buck arrived at the event, called The Las Vegas Takeover, at around 3 a.m. with an entourage of around 30 people, while Game and his entourage of also around 30 arrived at 4 a.m. making their way to the VIP area upstairs of The Ice House Lounge nightclub. According to witness statements given, Young Buck began making gestures at The Game from across the room, with Game and his people gesturing back. This is when Buck took it a step further. Buck then headed out of the VIP area to the stage, where he got a hold of the mic and began to spit a freestyle dissing The Game over his "Put You On The Game" track. The Game stood up on the railing of the upstairs VIP staring down at Buck and his group, and then proceeded down the stairs toward the stage with his entire crew behind him. Buck, still on the mic taunted him with "What, What!" Security immediately stopped The Game from getting on stage, then proceeded to escort Buck and rapper Young Jeezy -- who attended the event with Buck -- out of the building, holding Game and his crew until they left. Young Buck was really taunting The Game from upstairs, sitting on the railing of the VIP. Then he went down stairs and got on stage on the mic and taunted him some more," a fan, who attended the event. "The Game stood up on the railing of the upstairs VIP. His people held his arm, so he wouldn't fall. It was crazy!"

Someone called Camron's P.O.

A source very close to the Diplomats comment on the deal with the incident involving Camron and 50 Cent: “Somebody called Cam’s probation officer and told him that Cam had put a hit out on 50 Cent. Cam was then told to come down and talk to the probation officer–or face arrest. When Cam arrived to speak with probation officer, he was told that they had seen the ‘Cuurtis’ video as well as 50’s video about Cam. Cam was also asked about Supreme: ‘How do you know Supreme?’ Cam said that he did not know Supreme but that Supreme is a stand-up guy and 50 should not have been laughing at him on Hot 97. At the end of the interview, Cam stressed that the Diplomats ain’t got no beef with G-Unit. This is just music.”
