Diddy investigated for assault

Police are investigating an incident saturday morning in which Sean "Diddy" Combs allegedly assaulted an acquaintance at a SoHo nightclub during an argument, allegedly over a woman.

Diddy was at Kiosk around 3:30 am saturday morning, when he started to argue with a man named Steven Acevedo.

The two men exchanged words while walking away from each other, but later crossed paths again and continued to argue.
Diddy threw a punch and struck Steve in the face, leaving him with a bloody nose and swollen lip.

When Steve attempted to fight back, one of Diddy's bodyguards reached under his shirt, as if he was pulling out a gun.

Steve fled the club, went and filed a police report.

Police are looking at surveillance video and have contacted Diddy to get an official statement.

Diddy has not been arrested or charged with any crime.

Diddy assault charges dropped

Sean "Diddy" Combs should be able to breathe a bit easier tonight. That's because the Los Angeles Attorney's Office announced that assault charges against Diddy would not be filed, stemming from an incident at a post-Oscars bash in which Diddy allegedly attacked a man.

A spokemsan for the attorney's office said that there was insufficient evidence to charge Diddy with assault.

The incident reportedly took place Feb. 25 outside a post-Oscars party at Hollywood's Rossevelt Hotel. The alleged victim, Gerard Rechnitzer, claimed that he watched Diddy flirt with his girlfriend for approximately five minutes before he decided to intervene. However, when he approached Combs, the music mogul reportedly flew into a rage, yelling, "What the fuck you looking at, dude? I'll smack flames out your ass." Combs then reportedly attacked Rechnitzer.

Combs' attorney, Benjamin Brafman, told the Post that his client's fame was the only culprit in the case. "People who are superstars are always vulnerable to these allegations."

Diddy...take that, take that

Gerard Rechnitzer was at a post-Oscar bash Sunday night with his fiancee at Teddy’s at the Roosevelt Hotel in Hollywood. At around 2 AM Monday morning, the 27-year-old Rechnitzer was on his way to the parking lot when he made a pit stop in the bathroom. When he walked out, he noticed his fiancee was surrounded by six men, including Combs. We’re told the 5′7″, 140 lb. Rechnitzer watched as Combs chatted up his girl for about five minutes, and then asked his fiancee to leave with him.At that point, Combs allegedly told the woman he was having a party and invited her to come. Rechnitzer persisted and asked his fiancee again to leave with him. Combs then allegedly socked Rechnitzer in the jaw.

In other words, Diddy tried to tap his fiance and snuffed him for cock-blocking, take that, take that.

Diddy....."The Take Over"

Sean "Diddy" Combs will be on hand during the weekend of the game for two star-studded affairs in Miami.
He will kick off the festivities Friday Feb. 2 with his second annual "Twelve Hours of Diddy Super Bowl Jump off" at Space in downtown Miami. The gathering will be from 10 p.m. to 10 a.m.
Then on Saturday Feb. 3 "The TakeOver" at the Chakra Lounge in Miami Beach. Described as the most expensive club ever built in South Beach, the Lounge features a 30-ft. waterfall, private glass skybox and a terrace overlooking the Atlantic Ocean as well as a restaurant with Pan Asian cuisine and bar with a view of South Beach's Ocean Drive.
Diddy's parties are among a host of events scheduled to take place in the days leading up to the Super Bowl.
