It didn't take Jay-Z very long to find alternate living quarters after he'd gotten the word that the $40,000-a-month Time Warner Center pad he'd been renting was about to be sold.Now he's going to pay a lot more for the new crib he's found on the East Side.
Sources say Jay is going to shell out approximately $65,000 a month for a luxury apartment on one of the top floors of the 90-story Trump World Tower, one floor above Derek Jeter's bachelor pad.
It's a record rent for the 14-room condo, which includes soaring ceilings, two fireplaces, five bedrooms, five baths, two powder rooms, a gourmet kitchen, a library, maid's quarters and unobstructed views in all directions.
The steel-and-glass building features a large full-service health club and spa with an indoor pool, a wine cellar, a residents-only garden and room service from the trendy Japanese restaurant Megu.
